Since it’s inception the Berean Community & Family Life Center has been committed to the notion that our Senior population, who helped to preserve and create our community, deserve the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their labor and continue to live in that community for as long as possible. Unfortunately, as they retire and their income decreases and the cost of living continues to increase it becomes incredibly difficult for this to happen. 

In 1997, we opened Berean Gardens located in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, to help to ease the burden of our Seniors, who could no longer afford to live in the communities they raised families in.
